Questions Pool Owners Ask
What can a pool remodel change?
The interior finish, waterline tile, coping, decking, lighting, water features, and the equipment on the pad, in one project. A remodel is also the moment to fix structural problems in the shell or plumbing while the pool is empty, so the evaluation looks at the whole pool before the scope is set.
How long is the pool out of service during a remodel?
It depends on the scope. Draining, demolition of the old finish, any structural repairs, tile and coping, the new interior finish, fill-up, and startup run in sequence, and a clear scope up front keeps the pool empty for the shortest possible time. The schedule is set before demolition starts.
Can the remodel include new pool equipment?
Yes, and it is the best time for it: with the water out, lights, fittings, drains, and plumbing connections are reachable in a way they will not be again for years. Equipment is evaluated on condition and compatibility, and justified upgrades such as LED lighting or a variable-speed pump are folded into the same project.
